Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo ,was a women who had many troubles and heartaches throughout her life. It all started with a bus accident that left her with medical problems. But the accident didnt not stop her at all at the goals and passions for art, and was to be a painter. When she was ready to start to make her dreams come true, the brust and paint made its magic. She wanted to have a meaning to every master piece she created and wanted the world to know. Things seem to be going perfect until she thought she met the man of her "dreams".Things were good for a while when she finds out that he has been cheating on her with more than one womon.Frida found it had to let go.As the movie goes on she realizes that he will never be faithful to her. This was a perfect time to start painting again and not have any distractions. Frida also experienced her sexuality in the movie. In the movie, they describe Frida and as a strong womon who knows what she wants in life with her passion for painting.Frida has always been hurt, not physically but mentally.Towards the end of the movie Frida, realizes that the man of her "dreams" was always the one.He stands by her as she gets very sick. You can tell at the time in her life she was happy, but still had some sadness. Her dream come true when all of her arts of work were being displayed in front of people. As she is there on her deathbed she finally fufilled a dream of hers. Okay, so I've been talking about her love and passion for art through out the movie, but she was a women full of strength. And when she has her up's and down's she always goes back to the man who has her heart. I enjoyed watching this movie ann im sure you will as well. The movie mad me understand Frida, not as a painter but as a person and the meaning of her works. I garentee for you to go to an art museam and look the painting that showed all of her hurt.

I agree with you i think Frida was a very strong woman. She faced many hardships in life especially when she got into a bus crash. She injured herself a lot but she didn't give up because after she started walking the first thing she did was she went to the famous painter Diego to ask his opinion on her paintings. She went through alot in life and her husband cheated on her and at that point in the movie when she caught him having an affair with her sister i thought she was just going to commit suicide but she did not give up and thats what i mostly liked about her. She had a lot of strength and thats what made her a strong woman. Her health worsens at the end and she had to get her toes removed but before she dies her dream of displaying her art infront of people comes true.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you also . That although this movie was about her heartaches and hardships she went through, it was also revealed how she was a very strong willed lady. She did fall in the middle of being with a guy that was nowhere near the right person for her but that all happens to the best of us. Your right, her paintings did show the meaning of her life and i guess for people who did not watch the movie could get a visual image of how hard her life must have been through paintings. Not only did she go through a lot of heartache but her accident also took a toll on her life. After watching this movie you couldn't possibly ever say your life is bad and that you cant get through it because she obviousully has been through enough in her time and faced it. I did like this movie a ot and I recommend anyone to see it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds much more like a movie review than a reaction and an analysis.
